The Travis Scott shoes empire is about to get deeper. Enduring as one of the biggest names in footwear with his work on the Air Jordan 1 and his first signature silhouette, the Jordan Jumpman Jack, La Flame soft-launched a model with the Swoosh earlier this year. The Zoom Field Jaxx first made its way to consumers via a shock drop around MLB All-Star Weekend, but with the “Light Chocolate” colorway on tap, its run is about to begin in earnest.
The all-white iteration that introduced the silo earlier this year was a suitable arrangement for first impressions, but this makeup draws closer to Travis’ trademark designs. Anchoring the design in notes of khaki “Light Chocolate” edge it closer to now iconic pairs like his Jordan 1 “Mocha,” while the heavy dose of light blue on the upper still makes for a novel look overall. While it won’t be mistaken for genuine performance wear, Travis’ model here combines multiple on-court silhouettes, chiefly drawing inspiration from the Land Shark and the Spiridon.
Though the release of the Nike Zoom Field Jaxx “Light Chocolate” is noteworthy in and of itself, it also adds to a packed Winter calendar for the Houston superstar. Releases for the Jordan Jumpman Jack “Mocha” and “Velvet Brown” Jordan 1 Low help him close out 2024, with plenty of leaked and reported pairs already looming for 2025.
As of writing, there’s no concrete release date for the Travis Scott Nike Zoom Field Jaxx “Light Chocolate,” but we’re still on track for Holiday ’24. A retail price of $170 is confirmed. Official images appearing in this capacity means that a full announcement is likely coming sooner rather than later.
